Job Summary

Salary: Pay for this position is determined by the Operations Salary Schedule based on years of experience and education $19.41-$20.96 per hour/minimum pay.

Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for supporting the operations department through general maintenance work completion.


Minimum Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma; two years of trade experience preferred

Certification: NA

Experience: 3 years of similar experience preferred

Licenses/Certificates: Valid Colorado Drivers License

Other Criteria: Plumbing mechanical and/or Electrical experience preferred.

  • Ability to effectively read write speak and listen to comply with directions and instructions to complete tasks and establish priorities.

  • Ability to perform light lifting and moving of product (up to 100 lbs)
  • Effective Communication and Social Skills
  • Previous experience in general maintenance fields residential/commercial electrical experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical safety procedures lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Able to safely and comfortably work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a school atmosphere with staff members students and the public
  • Implements appropriate physical and technical safeguards to protect the confidentiality integrity and availability of district data
  • Maintain good security practices with passwords and accounts for the various district systems and applications.
  • Reports actual or suspected breaches in the confidentiality integrity or availability of district data to appropriate district personnel.
  • Follows all board policies for acceptable use of district technology.
  • Model the Districts Mission and Belief Statements.

  1. General maintenance and repair of electrical gear batteries and lighting systems
  2. General maintenance of kitchen equipment including dishwashers and boosters.
  3. Will help maintain district equipment and make electrical repairs on equipment when applicable.
  4. Other duties as assigned by Director of Operations

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds from floor to waist waist to overhead waist to floor and overhead to floor. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.


Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job the employee must be able to work in a school setting. Travel from site to site may occasionally; be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment ranges is generally quiet with occasional increase when working events or with equipment. Must be able to work in person.


Mental Functions: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to analyze and compute. Frequently required to compare communicate coordinate instruct evaluate use interpersonal skills and compile. Occasionally required to copy synthesize and negotiate.
