Used Car Technician

Sarat Ford Lincoln is seeking an experienced Used Car Technician to join our busy and growing service team. This full-time position focuses on inspecting diagnosing repairing and reconditioning pre-owned vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards before reaching the retail lot.

• Air-conditioned climate-controlled shop

• Inspect and evaluate incoming used vehicles for mechanical electrical and safety concerns

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems to dealership standards

• Perform maintenance reconditioning and repair work efficiently and accurately

• Ensure all vehicles meet safety and quality standards prior to retail sale

• Document repairs and recommendations on repair orders

• Communicate findings with Service Advisors and management

• Perform road tests to verify repairs and vehicle performance

• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment

• Follow dealership reconditioning processes and timelines

• Assist with additional service department work as needed

• Previous automotive technician experience required

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to inspect evaluate and repair major vehicle systems

• Ford and Lincoln experience preferred but not required

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced high-volume environment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
