Position: US Contract Attorney Litigation
Type: Contract
Compensation: $100$120/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Compare pairs of responses to litigation tasks and decide which is stronger with clear reasoning.
• Write concise justifications grounded in source documents and applicable US law.
• Create realistic legal prompts fact patterns and model answers from your litigation experience.
• Flag errors gaps and risky advice in AI-generated legal content.
• Attend onboarding and calibration sessions.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Admitted to practice in at least one US state (active bar membership).
• 3 years of US litigation practice including civil or commercial litigation motion practice discovery and trial preparation.
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Clear writing and attention to detail.

Preferred

• 2 years of experience at an AmLaw 100 firm (strongly preferred).
• Prior work on legal AI projects with Mercor.
• Experience in data annotation AI evaluation or legal-benchmarking.

Start Date
