Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate diagnose and treat a variety of urgent medical conditions in companion animals.

  • Perform urgent care procedures and minor surgical interventions within the scope of practice.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.

  • Educate clients on treatment options preventive care and follow-up recommendations.

  • Collaborate with veterinarians technicians and support staff to ensure exceptional patient care.

  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records.

  • Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Uphold high standards of medical care patient safety and client service.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

  • Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of practice.
