We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time UPK Teacher to join our team and deliver high-quality instruction aligned with the Middletown school district curriculum.
Position Overview: The UPK Teacher will be responsible for implementing the school districts curriculum assessing student progress and creating a classroom environment that supports each childs social emotional and academic development. This role requires active participation in all school district-mandated meetings trainings and professional development sessions.
Schedule:
Full-time MondayFriday
Qualifications (Required):
Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or
Valid New York State Teacher Certification in Early Childhood Education (BirthGrade 2)
Strong understanding of early childhood development and best teaching practices
Excellent communication organization and classroom management skills
Responsibilities:
Implement the school districts UPK curriculum with fidelity
Prepare lesson plans and learning activities that meet program standards
Assess student progress and maintain accurate records
Foster positive relationships with students families and colleagues
Maintain a safe clean and engaging classroom environment
Attend all required school district meetings trainings and professional development sessions
Ensure compliance with state district and center policies
