About UP Education Network

UP Education Network manages and operates five schools in Boston and Lawrence MA serving more than 2600 elementary and middle school students. UP is invited by local school districts to restart chronically underperforming district schools as UP Academies. Each UP Academy shares the same mission: to ensure that students acquire the knowledge skills and strength of character necessary tosucceed on the path to college and to achieve their full potential.

Role
The Operations Managerplays a central role in ensuring a well-run efficient and responsive addition to maintaining the schools administrative systems and routines the Operations Managerwill support the School Leadership Team by completing various school-wide projects related to operations school assessment and accountability community relations and strategic planning. The Operations Managermust be able to communicate effectively with students teachers families trustees donors and visitors.

Specific Responsibilities

• Implement and enhance the schools systems and culture
• Develop the strategy and implementation plan for school-wide projects
• Create an accountability plan to ensure the successful delivery of school-wide initiatives
• Collect school performance data and create data presentations
• Greet families at student open houses or registration(including periodic Saturdays)
• Work with School Leadership Team to ensure that all government and authorized grant proposals and reports are completed on time
• Support data-entry and maintenance of school-wide daily systems (student attendance student discipline system etc.)
• Support coordination of logistics and preparations for schoolevents and activities as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree is preferred

• Current authorization to work in the United States A candidate must have such authorization by hisor her first day of employment

Compensation and Benefits

Your salary is commensurate with experience; UP Academy follows the salary scales of each UP Academys host school district.
