Unit Nurse Manager

A respected healthcare organization in Central New York is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its team as an RN Unit Manager at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations supporting nursing staff and ensuring residents receive high-quality resident-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Lead supervise and mentor nursing staff while promoting exceptional resident care.
• Oversee resident assessments care planning and changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians nurse practitioners and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Manage staffing scheduling payroll performance evaluations and staff development.
• Support quality improvement initiatives regulatory compliance and policy implementation.
• Serve as a clinical leader during emergencies and provide hands-on support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-term care rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication organizational and leadership skills.
