Job Summary

Overview

The Unit Assistant provides clerical support to nursing units. Facilitates communication with other departments visitors patients medical staff and employees. Serves as a public relations liaison for the unit and assists with the daily operations of the unit.

Responsibilities

Answers call lights and assists with non-clinical patient needs. Assists with the admission transfer and discharge of patients. Transports equipment patients specimens as needed.

Salary Range

The compensation range for this position is $16.91per hour - $27.39per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidates experience qualifications location training licenses shifts worked and compensation model.
