Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Ultrasonographer you provide critical diagnostic information using advanced ultrasound contributing to patient diagnosis and treatment and participating in our clinical training and technology evaluation programs.

Daily you perform ultrasound examinations capture high-quality images and present findings. Under management direction you coordinate operations for quality care and service collaborating with healthcare professionals to streamline processes enhance diagnostic accuracy and uphold imaging standards improving patient outcomes and fostering innovation.

Success requires comprehensive ultrasound knowledge exceptional technical proficiency keen problem-solving meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety diagnostic accuracy and a collaborative learning environment. These are crucial for delivering vital diagnostic information and supporting our innovation leadership.

Job Requirements

Required Licensure

  • Registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or certification in Sonography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current healthcare provider BLS Certification.
Education/Work Experience Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program in General diagnostic sonography.
  • Graduation from an accredited (CAAHEP) program is preferred.
  • Completion of a twelve-month internship in diagnostic ultrasound (with at least six months in General ultrasound) or equivalent recent directly-related work experience that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities is preferred.
