- Supervise the production department which includes assigning work encouraging team involvement completing the performance management process for all team members scheduling work ensuring needed equipment is maintained and purchased and developing and following departmental budget
- Coach team members through problem solving to identify problem areas and solve them
- Monitor production orders or schedules to ensure product is manufactured and scheduled delivery dates are met in order to plan department operations
- Coordinate department schedule and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of product meets specifications
- A combination of education and experience generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of two years of trade school or qualified work experience
- Work effectively with limited supervisor
- Set a positive example maintain a pattern of regular and predictable attendance
- Retain knowledge of the department of operation
