Significance Inc. is seeking an UiPath RPA Developer Senior Technical Advisor to join our team supporting our Navy customer in Alexandria VA. This hybrid position requires an active Secret clearance. Youll join a collaborative team focused on delivering practical solutions that support the Navys mission.
The UiPath RPA Developer will:
Independently design develop test deploy and maintain UiPath automation solutions that support Navy business process automation data reconciliation validation and reporting requirements.
Lead technical process discovery with Navy functional users to understand current-state business processes identify automation opportunities assess technical feasibility and translate business requirements into scalable and auditable RPA solutions.
Design and build end-to-end automation solutions using UiPath Studio and related UiPath technologies applying reusable components development standards and appropriate solution architecture.
Publish schedule monitor and support production automations through UiPath Orchestrator including job management queues assets credentials triggers exception handling and operational monitoring.
Evaluate business processes and recommend appropriate automation approaches based on technical feasibility process complexity data availability security requirements expected value and maintainability.
Integrate UiPath automations with Navy and DoW systems of record and enterprise data sources including Excel SharePoint SQL databases APIs and other applications and data platforms.
Develop Python scripts SQL queries APIs and other supporting technical components required to enable end-to-end automation solutions and data processing.
Apply RPA and software development best practices including modular and reusable solution design version control structured exception handling logging testing debugging code review and configuration management.
Develop and maintain process definition documents (PDDs) solution design documents (SDDs) technical specifications test plans deployment documentation and user/operations documentation in accordance with program and DoW standards.
Develop and execute unit and integration testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) production deployment and post-implementation validation of automation solutions.
Independently troubleshoot complex bot failures and production issues conduct root-cause analysis and develop sustainable technical solutions to prevent recurrence.
Work directly with functional and technical stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and help translate loosely defined business problems into actionable technical requirements and solution approaches.
Support evaluation and integration of emerging automation and artificial intelligence capabilities including Azure and Azure AI services to enhance existing automation solutions or address new business requirements.
Evaluate opportunities to incorporate generative AI intelligent document processing and other AI-enabled capabilities into automation workflows when technically and operationally appropriate.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning stand-ups demonstrations and retrospectives and independently manage assigned development activities through the software development lifecycle.
Coordinate with Information Assurance/Cybersecurity personnel system owners and other technical stakeholders to ensure solutions comply with Navy and DoW security access control change management data protection and Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements.
Collaborate with senior technical leadership and other developers to support development standards reusable automation components technical governance and continuous improvement of the programs automation capabilities.
Provide informal technical guidance and knowledge sharing to less-experienced developers while remaining an individual contributor responsible for hands-on solution development and delivery.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to the RPA Center of Excellences coding standards reusable libraries and governance framework (senior-level candidates).
Required Skills:
Active or interim DoD SECRET security clearance; ability to maintain clearance eligibility for the duration of assignment.
U.S. Citizenship (required by contract).
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Data Science or a related technical field.
36 years of professional RPA software automation or related development experience including demonstrated hands-on experience designing developing deploying and supporting UiPath automation solutions.
Demonstrated proficiency with UiPath Studio and UiPath Orchestrator including workflow development reusable components queues assets credentials scheduling exception handling logging deployment and production monitoring.
Demonstrated experience independently designing and delivering end-to-end automation solutions from requirements gathering and process analysis through development testing deployment and production support.
Proficiency with Python and SQL for scripting data processing system integration or automation development.
Strong understanding of software development fundamentals and best practices including modular design testing debugging version control exception handling logging and maintainability.
Experience integrating automation solutions with enterprise applications APIs databases Excel SharePoint and other structured or semi-structured data sources.
Experience conducting process analysis and translating business requirements and operational challenges into technical automation solutions.
Experience developing technical documentation including process definition documents (PDDs) solution design documents (SDDs) technical specifications testing documentation and operational/user documentation.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex automation failures conduct root-cause analysis and resolve production issues.
Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to lead technical discussions with functional stakeholders and explain technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
Ability to independently manage assigned automation solutions and development activities while collaborating within a broader technical and program team.
Desired Skills:
UiPath Certified RPA Associate (UiRPA) or UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD).
Prior experience supporting Department of the Navy NAVFAC or other DoW real property facilities or asset management programs.
Familiarity with Navy real property systems and data sets (e.g. iNFADS real property inventory/accountability systems GIS/CAD-based facility data).
Experience supporting financial statement audit remediation internal controls or data reconciliation efforts in a federal environment.
Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure AI services including integration of cloud-based AI capabilities into applications or automation workflows.
Working knowledge of additional automation or integration tools (UiPath Integration Service UiPath Document Understanding Power Automate SQL scripting Python).
Experience with generative AI large language models (LLMs) agentic AI concepts/frameworks intelligent document processing or AI-enabled automation.
Experience with Git GitLab CI/CD pipelines or other modern software development and configuration management practices.
Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies in a government contracting environment.
Prior experience mentoring junior RPA developers or leading small automation development efforts (senior-level candidates).
$131000 - $157000 a year
At Significance your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role level and geographic location.

The salary range listed is for the level at which this job has been the event that you are considered for a different level a higher or lower pay range would apply.
