As an engineer on the UI Frameworks team you will develop features and APIs across SwiftUI and UIKit that impact all of Apples platforms and delight over a billion users. You will be responsible for bringing your ideas to life through all stages of their development: from initial research to API design and proposals to testing and development in Swift to documentation and offering guidance to ʼll join us in energetic discussions on each otherʼs work and ideas alongside members of other teams possessing a variety of different perspectives and domain UI Frameworks team is responsible for the core SwiftUI and UIKit frameworks and works closely with UI framework teams across iOS iPadOS macOS watchOS and tvOS. Youʼll also have the opportunity to collaborate with experts throughout Apple including: compiler engineers interface designers and technical writers. Curious and enterprising individuals who take an expansive view of their role will thrive in this multi-disciplinary environment!nnOur goal is to dramatically improve the correctness performance and polish of apps across all of Appleʼs platforms simultaneously making it easier for beginners to get started and empowering seasoned pros to make their apps shine. Because we have the privilege of collaborating closely with the Swift Xcode design and framework teams up and down the software stack we believe Apples UI frameworks can be by far the best app development experience in the world. Proficiency with Swift (or the capacity to become proficient quickly)nThe ability to work collaboratively and explain complex ideas clearlynExperience with at least one of the following: native or web app development framework and API development graphics and animation systemsnBachelorʼs Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
High standards for quality and attention to detailnThe desire to learn and grow keeping pace with cutting edge technologies
