POSITION:
Tutor - Special Education
Assignment: Multi-Age Learning Center / TLC
(This is a vacancy due to a one year leave of absence)
Furnace Brook Middle School
35 hours per week
STARTING DATE:
As soon as possiblefor the 2026-2027 School Year
SALARY:
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP ORLINE OF AUTHORITY:
Directly responsible to Special Education Department Head Building Principal and Assistant Superintendent Student Services
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/BA in education preferred.
- MA DESE License preferred.
- Strong desire to work with special needs children.
- Ability and experience working with students who have social/emotional and behavior challenges.
- Ability to work effectively with teachers and students.
- High personal integrity reliability punctuality and ability to maintain confidentiality required.
