POSITION Truss Assembler

JOB LOCATION Green Bay WI

EMPLOYMENT TERM **DIRECT HIRE**

EMPLOYMENT TYPE Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) 1st Shift (6:00am 4:30pm); 2nd Shift (4:30pm-3:00am) (Hours may vary depending on season)

STARTING PAY 1st Shift - $16.60 and 2nd shift - $17.85

REQUIRED EDUCATION High School Diploma/GED

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE At least 6 Months Experience

As a Truss Assembler you will be responsible for assembling components including truss roof and floor panel system stock lumber and other duties as necessary including banding stacks of finished products and using tools daily.

Responsibilities

-Organize component supplies and materials for assembly

-Stock plates for component set up

-Loads and bands finished products

-Use tools to complete assemblies

-Follow diagram to specifications to assemble components

-Setup wood and other materials to be used in projects

Qualifications

-High school diploma or equivalent and/or equivalent work experience

-Prior carpentry experience is helpful but not required

-Must be able to read a tape measure and use a hammer. Tools are required.

-Must be able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.
