New England TruckMaster is looking for an experienced Truck Equipment Installer/Technician to join our growing team in Plainville CT. If you have welding fabrication mechanical or electrical experience and take pride in building quality equipment wed like to talk with you.

What Youll Do

• Install tow truck and wrecker bodies
• Install snow plows spreaders and related truck equipment
• Perform 12-volt electrical wiring lighting controls and wiring harness installations
• Weld and fabricate mounting brackets frames and structural components
• Perform truck body and frame modifications as required
• Repair and fabricate steel and aluminum components
• Work with hydraulic systems and truck equipment (experience is a plus)

What Were Looking For

• Experience installing truck equipment wreckers plows or similar vocational equipment preferred
• Welding and metal fabrication experience
• Basic to intermediate 12-volt electrical knowledge
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Hydraulic experience is a plus but well train the right person
• Ability to read layouts and work independently
• Own basic hand tools
• High school diploma trade school or equivalent experience
• Valid drivers license
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
