Job Summary
We are currently hiring Trim Carpenters in Downtown Nashville TN for upcoming projects. Pay is up to $32 per hour based on experience and skillset. The Trim Carpenteris responsible for skilled finish case and trim carpentry for a hospital setting. This role focuses on precision craftsmanship reading plans and preparing materials for installation.
Trim Carpenter Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints shop drawings and project specifications
- Measure cut and assemble materials based on blueprints or shop drawings
- Operate machinery (saws routers sanders drills etc.)
- Finish case and trim carpentry for new exhibits in a museum setting
- Inspect materials for quality and ensure accuracy of finished products
- Maintain a clean safe and organized workspace
- Collaborate with project managers designers and field teams
- Perform repairs or modifications to existing structures or components
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Trim Carpenter Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a carpenter
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Must have PPE Tools and reliable transportation
- Drug Test required
Preferred Skills:
- 6 years of professional carpentry
- Trim carpentry background
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
