Traveling Construction Superintendent

We are looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee daily activities at construction sites and ensure projects are completed safely on schedule within budget and according to quality standards.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading field teams coordinating subcontractors solving on-site challenges and keeping projects moving efficiently from start to finish.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations at construction sites.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors vendors and field personnel.
• Monitor project progress to ensure work is completed safely on time and according to project requirements.
• Conduct regular site meetings and communicate updates with the project team.
• Help maintain project schedules and address any delays or issues that arise.
• Ensure all work complies with safety guidelines and applicable industry standards.
• Review daily reports material deliveries and workforce records.
• Identify and resolve construction-related challenges before they impact the project.
• Maintain a safe clean and organized job site.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure successful project completion.

• Previous experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar field leadership role.
• Strong understanding of construction practices building systems and job site safety.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and project documents.
• Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience using construction management and scheduling software is a plus.
• OSHA safety certification is preferred.
• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus.
• Several years of experience supervising construction projects and managing field operations.

This is a field-based position that requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions and on active construction sites. Candidates should be comfortable standing walking climbing and occasionally lifting materials or equipment as part of normal job duties.
