Job Title: Travel Tech - Entry-Level HVAC Controls Technician

About the Role:

Are you looking to break into the controls side of HVAC with a company that will train you into a specialist Were looking for an entry-level technician with basic HVAC fundamentals who wants to grow into a controls role working alongside experienced controls technicians on high-visibility commercial projects. This role is built for someone eager to learn willing to travel and ready to build a long-term career path in building automation and controls.

Full-time position based out of Savannah

Heavy travel required youll be on the road with your mentoring tech

Pay rate $20$35/hr based on skill set and experience

Real mentorship: youll work directly alongside two experienced controls technicians Career growth path from apprentice to full controls technician

Responsibilities:

Travel with and support a senior controls technician on large-scale commercial project sites including major logistics/warehouse facilities

Assist with troubleshooting and servicing building automation and controls systems

Learn and apply basic HVAC fundamentals meter usage VFD operation and core system diagnostics

Support installation calibration and servicing of front-end and back-end controls platforms

Follow safety standards on all job sites

Build toward independent controls work as skills develop

Requirements:

Universal EPA

Basic HVAC fundamentals comfortable using a meter and understanding VFD operation

Willingness and ability to travel extensively

Exposure to or interest in controls platforms such as Niagara Distech or Siemens is a strong plus (not required to start)

Strong desire to learn and grow into a specialized controls career

Valid drivers license

Ability to pass a standard drug screen and background check
