Job Description
Software Guidance & Assistance Inc. (SGA) is searching for a Trauma Registrar for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Healthcare clients working remotely.
Responsibilities :
- The Trauma Registrar will support Eden Medical Centers trauma registry operations during a 9-month remote contract assignment. This is a non-clinical role focused on maintaining accurate trauma registry data supporting ACS site survey readiness and helping the trauma program meet required registry staffing ratios. Responsibilities include reviewing trauma patient records applying NTDS and applicable hospital local regional and state inclusion criteria abstracting required data elements validating registry information and supporting reporting needs for the Trauma Program Director. The role requires strong trauma registry experience independent remote work capability and attention to detail in compliance-driven documentation workflows.
Required Skills:
- CSTR or CAISS certification required
- Experience with trauma registry abstraction and data entry
- Experience with NTDS inclusion criteria and trauma center registry requirements
- Ability to support ACS trauma survey readiness and registry compliance
- Experience reviewing trauma patient records for required registry elements
- Proficiency in accurate data validation documentation and reporting workflows
- Ability to work independently in a remote contract role
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting Level I II or III trauma center registry operations
- Experience with ACS trauma standards and FTE registry ratio requirements
- Experience working with hospital quality trauma program or decision support teams
- Prior contract or temporary trauma registrar experience
- Experience with Workday or healthcare contingent worker processes
