Transporter Central Transport

Work Shift:

Day - 12 Hour (United States of America)Schedule: Two 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM shifts and one 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM shift per week.

Perform a variety of activities related to the transportation of patients specimens and equipment. Greet and assist patients and visitors at hospital or clinics in areas as assigned and directed. Assists in keeping the hallways/assigned areas neat and orderly by removing medical equipment and unoccupied hospital beds and placing them in their appropriate locations. Assists non-acutely ill patients with basic care and daily hygiene activities as well as with maintaining a safe and clean environment. Dependent on areas assigned must maintain area based on required standards. Responsible for carrying out the mission vision values and quality commitment of Emory Healthcare.

Education & Training:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience:
None.

Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
Current AHA/ARC BLS certification. Current Crisis Prevention Training certification is required to be completed within first 9 months of hire.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Must be able to utilize diagnostic equipment as well as patient care equipment such as vital sign machine clinical beds etc. Must be able to utilize personal protective equipment.
