Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani a national law firm with offices in all 50 states has immediate openings for Transportation/Trucking Litigation Attorneys in its St. Louis office. Ideal candidates will have at least 4 - 6 years of experience with a particular emphasis on defending commercial motor vehicles trucking transportation and motor vehicle accident claims. The firm offers flexible options for successful candidates including hybrid opportunities.

GRSM attorneys represent leading transportation and logistics companies in high-stakes injury property damage and casualty matters across land sea and air. We provide immediate guidance during accidents and investigations and have successfully advocated for clients up to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Candidates must be driven team players with excellent litigation writing and persuasive speaking skills possess strong academic backgrounds and proven skills in research and must be self-starters who are able to handle assignments with minimal supervision. Trial experience is preferred but not required.

Candidates must be licensed to practice in Missouri with Illinois licensure preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Investigating serious and catastrophic accidents.
• Evaluating liability causation damages and exposure.
• Developing litigation strategy with clients insurers and experienced trial counsel.
• Managing cases through all phases of litigation.
• Drafting pleadings dispositive motions discovery and substantive correspondence.
• Taking and defending depositions of parties witnesses corporate representatives treating physicians and experts.
• Working with accident-reconstruction trucking medical and other experts.
• Preparing cases for mediation and settlement.
• Participating in hearings and court proceedings.
• Preparing cases for trial and depending on experience participating as first or second chair.
• Communicating directly with clients claims professionals witnesses and opposing counsel.
• Working collaboratively with partners associates paralegals and litigation support staff.
