Transportation Site Lead 1st Shift
Job Summary
- Customer & Supplier Coordination Act as the primary liaison between customers suppliers and transportation teams to execute supply chain solutions.
- Transportation Planning & Scheduling Work with suppliers to schedule pickup windows and transportation routes while maintaining delivery timelines.
- Shipment Monitoring & Issue Resolution Manage communications regarding missed appointments shipment refusals and scheduling conflicts with carriers.
- Data Management & Reporting Maintain and update company and client databases tracking shipment performance and transportation metrics.
- Compliance & Process Improvement Follow ISO-9001 quality standards ensuring all workplace processes and reporting functions meet compliance requirements.
- Weekend Coverage (Rotational Basis) Provide customer support on a rotating weekend schedule as assigned.
- Education & Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in the supply chain or transportation industry preferably in dispatch or customer service.
- 1-2 years of experience working on-site at a customer location preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Outlook Excel).
- Excellent data entry accuracy and reporting skills.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with customers suppliers and transportation teams.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks troubleshoot scheduling issues and adapt to changing priorities.

Required Skills:
Qualifications & Requirements Bachelors degree in management transportation or related field (or Associates degree with 4 years experience in logistics/operations). Proven leadership experience in operations logistics or terminal management. Proficiency in MS Office 365 transportation software (TMW Peoplenet etc.) and reporting tools. Strong knowledge of transportation fleet modeling DOT regulations and C-TPAT compliance. Excellent multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Valid drivers license and eligibility for company vehicle insurance.
