We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a driving position. Please review the requirements below:
- $25.00 an hour
- Part-time
- Lancaster/Panorama City
Shift Hours
- Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
- Passenger Endorsement required
- DOT Medical Certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience with a regular Class C license
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- K-4 DMV printout (issued within the last 30 days) required
- Recent Passenger Commercial Vehicle Driving experience
- Previous experience in transportation shuttle operations or fleet services preferred
- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Spirit of the Position:
The Transportation Lead is responsible for supporting the daily transportation operations by providing leadership guidance and operational oversight to drivers while maintaining compliance with company policies DOT regulations and client expectations. This position serves as a working lead balancing supervisory responsibilities with operating commercial vehicles as needed to ensure service continuity and operational excellence.
Principal Job Duties:
- Safely operating company vehicles.
- G.E.T. 100 (Greet Engage and Thank the Guest - 100% of the time).
- Assist passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle including ADA passengers if applicable.
- Effectively communicating and working in a team environment to achieve maximum productivity.
- Demonstrate the ability to work self-sufficiently while performing daily tasks as a professional driver.
Requirements:
- 1 or more years with a CDL license.
- Comply with Federal DOT State and Local Rules/Regulations and Company Policy.
- Ability to read write and speak English.
- Valid Commercial Drivers License with proper endorsement(s).
- Valid Medical Card or ability to successfully perform and pass a DOT physical examination.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or holidays.
- Assist with the daily oversight of transportation operations.
- Assist with the daily oversight of transportation operations.
- Provide leadership coaching and direction to transportation personnel during assigned shifts.
- Ensure routes are completed safely efficiently and on schedule.
- Operate company vehicles when necessary to maintain service levels.
- Conduct pre-trip post-trip and random vehicle inspections to ensure fleet readiness.
- Monitor driver performance and reinforce company safety standards and DOT regulations.
- Assist with new employee onboarding and behind-the-wheel training as assigned.
- Respond to operational issues service delays accidents emergencies and customer concerns.
- Coordinate with dispatch and management to resolve staffing and service issues.
- Complete daily reports incident reports vehicle inspections and operational documentation.
- Ensure employees follow company policies regarding attendance uniforms customer service and safety.
- Assist with schedule adjustments and route coverage during staffing shortages.
- Communicate operational updates and concerns to management promptly.
- Promote a positive team environment through coaching accountability and professionalism.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to physically push/pull/lift to 50lbs
- Ability to bend at the knees or squat frequently throughout a shift.
- Willingness to work in inclement weather (rain sleet snow heat high wind etc.)
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings weekends holidays and overtime as operational needs require.
