THIS POSTING IS FOR A TRANSPORTATION DISPATCHER AND ROUTER POSITION

SUMMARY: Under supervision the specialists determines all pupil transportation routes using transportation software programs assists in scheduling and assigning bus drivers and assists the dispatcher as needed. Assign drivers work schedule trips and assist in the daily operation of the transportation department Employee has extensive knowledge of transportation operating procedures and is proficient in the use of transportation software.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Formal education in modern business office practices.
  • Experience with fleet operations or student or public transportation.
  • Experience or formal training in Versatrans preferred.

CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS

  • ValidWashingtonStatedrivers license with a good driving record.
  • Must be eligible to obtain Washington CDL.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain current First Aid/CPR certification.
