Training & Performance Specialist Weekend Shift

Fri - Sun: 5AM - 5:30PM
Essential Job Functions
- Conduct onboarding training refresher compliance and job-specific training for employees and temporary associates.
- Deliver training in accordance with company policies safety standards operational procedures and customer requirements.
- Maintain training records certifications evaluations and completion tracking.
- Provide hands-on instruction for equipment operation systems processes and safety practices.
- Evaluate employee competency provide coaching and identify training or performance gaps.
- Develop and maintain training materials schedules matrices and supporting documentation.
- Partner with Operations Safety Quality and HR to support employee development and regulatory compliance.
- Support audits recertifications corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify training needs and implement solutions to improve performance and operational effectiveness.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations logistics safety quality and distribution processes.
- Ability to effectively train coach and engage employees at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on accuracy compliance and documentation management.
- Skilled in communicating procedures work instructions safety requirements and system processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate cross-functionally with Operations Safety Quality HR IT and leadership teams.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and continuous improvement capabilities.
- Effective verbal written and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion professionalism and sound judgment.
Physical Requirements
- Talking hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment.
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- Job may require extended sitting or standing use of standard office equipment.
- Job may require presence on-site at the assigned work location.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of training learning and development or related experience.
- Experience in warehouse operations logistics safety quality onboarding or workforce development preferred.
- Experience delivering classroom and hands-on training conducting evaluations and managing certification or compliance programs preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook Teams Excel PowerPoint and SharePoint.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
- Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification required or ability to obtain certification.
- Safety certification training certification or related coursework preferred.
- Train-the-Trainer certification preferred.
