Create training materials as needed for specific issues and create trainingvideos. Will create an annual training schedule for each department and make itavailable in Google Drive. Will conduct New Hire Orientation and Safety Training. Will maintain instructor status and direct structured learning courses (Home CareAide Training Residential Core Training CPR First Aid HIV/BBP RightResponse and Continuing Education CPI). Will attend supervisor meetings to ascertain additional training needs. Will evaluate training effectiveness by observing and conducting surveys. Will train and supervise instructors (peer coaching). Will assist employees in improving or enhancing existing skills. Will complete all required applications and documents ensuring compliance withcontractual requirements and agreements. Will maintain training requirements and certifications for all employees.o Overseeing and maintaining the Washington Training Trackero Overseeing and communicating to Directors and Supervisors in regards toTraining Compliance Will keep up to date with Policies and Procedures and create trainings for staffwith updated changes as needed Will prepare training documents and submit the following Employee for their personal records Accounting Department for payroll and billing purposes Administrative Assistant for employee file compliance Will attend Provider meetings when training information is part of the agenda. Will adjust the training program as requirements are updated modified orchanged. Will stay on top of new trends and tools in employment development. Will work within the Training Program operation budget. Will work with DDCS/DOH to ensure curriculum/trainers are approved. Will work with new accreditations and certifications to ensure the curriculum isapproved. Annually train the Leadership team with updated leadership training Stay on top of In The Know or any other training system to keep up to date onCEs and updated training expectations Must be willing to travel to complete training in other : Travel between offices programs and meetings averages 80%. Personal vehicle use is required; mileage is reimbursed. Out-of-state travel is typically not education and experience:Certified Medical Assistant License and 1-year field experience (or)Licensed Practical Nurse and 1-year field experienceTwo years specialized training emphasizing Social Services at least three years experience working within a business social services or educational School Diploma or GED Equivalent2 years experience working with Clients with Disabilities3 years Supervisory experienceLicensing Requirements:Must pass a Washington State background checkFirst Aid/CPR Certified (within 120 days of employment training can be provided)Blood Borne Pathogen (within 120 days of employment training can be provided)Need to obtain CPI Blue CardMust be 21 years of age with some Instructor of New Employee Orientation and Safety TrainingCertified Long-Term Care Worker Instructor Home Care AideCertified Long-Term Care Worker Instructor Residential Core TrainingCertified CPR / First Aid / BBP InstructorPeer Coach Instructor Ongoing eligibility qualifications: Complete and pass the background check screening upon hire and every two years thereafter or as active NAR CPR/First Aid Nurse Delegation and other required a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education Washington and Citizen Access Residential Resources are part of the Redwood Family Care Network family of companies.
