Empire State University is seeking candidates for a full-time Trades Generalistto work in our Saratoga Springs location.

The position will perform a wide range of semi-skilled and skilled maintenance repair and operational duties while also providing on-shift coordination and support to custodial and facilities staff as needed.

Duties of this position will include the following:

• Minor electrical repairs
• Carpentry and wall repair
• Plumbing adjustments and fixture repairs
• Preventive maintenance on building systems
• Equipment troubleshooting
• Assist with facility setups and adjustments
• Support snow removal and seasonal operations
• Address urgent repair needs during active building hours

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Four years of full-time experience in a trade under a skilled tradesperson which would provide training equivalent to that given in a training apprenticeship or equivalent program; or an equivalent combination of experience and training gained by completion of technical courses in skilled trades at a school institute or branch of the Armed Services.

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday 11:00am - 7:00pm

Special Information:Must possess a valid NYS drivers license

Salary: $50425
