The Truck Driver safely operates trucks on the installation or within a city or distribution/industrial area transporting material and equipment between various types of establishments such as: warehouses piers wholesale and retail establishments or designated local delivery locations based on established schedules. Loads and unloads truck with or without helpers performs daily maintenance and safety checks on the vehicle and ensures the vehicle is in good working order.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follow established guidelines in performing day-to-day routine tasks as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)/Job Breakdown sheets (JBS) Technical Manuals and Audit Readiness standards. 3. Understand the Acceptable Performance Levels (APLs) associated with assigned functional work areas / process and work expeditiously to meet contractual and team goals. 4. Adhere to Government and Company policies and procedures. 5. Responsive communication with the Inventory Customer Service and Quality Control teams regarding any system discrepancies that cannot be resolved. 6. Ability to use e-mail to receive and disseminate workload tasks and information. 7. Ability to communicate in a professional manner with co-workers site management and Customers regarding service and transportation support at the Distribution Center. 8. Maintain a safe and secure work environment to include vehicle safety and security measures. 9. Responsible for understanding site local delivery and transportation route plan. 10. Perform other duties as assigned in association with established Management and Contract Compliance Plan Storage Plan and workload requirements.
