What You Will Do:
- Design build repair and maintain stamping dies molds jigs fixtures and production tooling
- Set up and operate manual and CNC machining equipment including lathes Bridgeport mills drill presses grinders and saws
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot tooling issues to minimize downtime
- Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and engineering specifications
- Inspect finished components using precision measuring equipment such as calipers micrometers height gauges and indicators
- Partner with Production and Maintenance teams to improve tooling performance and manufacturing efficiency
- Maintain accurate maintenance repair and modification records
- Mentor Tool & Die trainees or apprentices as needed
- Follow all safety quality and 5S standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or GED; vocational or technical training in Tool & Die preferred
- Strong experience with stamping dies molds jigs fixtures and metalworking techniques
- Proficiency operating manual and CNC machining equipment
- Ability to read blueprints schematics and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Commitment to safety quality and craftsmanship
- Dependable work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
