Job Summary

Overview:

Quinnipiac University invites applications for a Title IX and Bias Response Case Coordinator to play a vital role in advancing the universitys commitment to fostering a safe equitable and inclusive learning and working this highly collaborative position you will serve as a trusted resource to students faculty and staff by supporting the resolution of Title IX and bias-related concerns with professionalism compassion and integrity.

The successful candidate will provide guidance on university policies procedures and supportive resources; partner with campus stakeholders to promote compliance with federal and state regulations; and help ensure individuals understand their rights options and available support throughout institutional processes. This role contributes to the fair and equitable resolution of concerns while promoting transparency accountability and respect for all members of the Quinnipiac community.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the reporting of complaints conduct intake interviews refer respondents and complainants to internal/external agencies for supportive resources and conduct informal resolution mediations
  • Respond to non-emergency reports and complaints of violations of the University Sexual Misconduct and Anti-Harassment policies in a timely manner
  • Work with faculty and staff to implement and monitor interim supportive measures
  • Coordinate various types of process delivery (e.g. notices of investigation no-contact orders notices of interim suspension) to complainants and respondents
  • Assist the Title IX Coordinator and Title IX and Bias Investigator with preparation for and implementation of training for students faculty and staff
  • Coordinate the delivery of services and information sharing with other key departments across University administrative and operational offices including without limitation Human Resources The CARE Team and Public Safety
  • Communicate and interact with attorneys party advisors students and parents
  • Act as the public facing representative of the office and the first line of contact for students and parents regarding concerns related to Title IX and Bias incidents
  • Responsible for overseeing departmental financial and operational processes
  • Other duties as assigned
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree inSocial Work Psychology Criminal Justice Pre-Law Sociology Nursing Administration or Human Resources is required.
  • Masters degree is preferred.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt in crisis situations
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis
  • Understanding of trauma-informed culturally responsive and equitable practices in complaint resolution and support services
  • Ability to exercise exceptional judgment discretion and maintain confidentiality while handling highly sensitive information
  • Problem-solving capacities and aptitudes along with a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to de-escalate emotions in a calm and professional manner
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive respectful and welcoming campus environment
  • Ability to navigate difficult conversations with empathy professionalism and impartiality
  • Familiarity with office computer applications including Maxient OneDrive and Outlook
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from varied background
