What Youll Do

• Provide individualized and small-group reading and mathematics intervention for eligible K8 students.
• Deliver engaging standards-aligned instruction using Performance Academies approved curriculum and instructional resources.
• Differentiate instruction to address individual learning needs and close academic gaps.
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies to improve student achievement.
• Reinforce classroom learning and support students in mastering grade-level standards.

• Use formative and summative assessment data to identify learning needs and personalize instruction.
• Monitor student growth and maintain accurate intervention schedules progress monitoring data and instructional records.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to evaluate student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed.
• Support school-wide academic improvement initiatives through data-driven decision making.

• Build positive relationships that encourage student confidence engagement and academic success.
• Maintain a safe structured and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students social-emotional growth while reinforcing school-wide behavior expectations.
• Ensure student safety and comply with all mandatory reporting requirements.

• Collaborate with classroom teachers instructional coaches intervention teams and administrators to coordinate student support.
• Participate in IAT and IEP meetings as requested.
• Communicate student progress with families and school staff.
• Participate in school events professional development and collaborative team meetings.

• Bachelors degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid Ohio teaching license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Experience working with elementary or middle school students preferred.
• Strong understanding of reading and mathematics instruction intervention strategies and data-driven decision making.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace Microsoft Office and instructional technology.

• Experience providing academic intervention or tutoring in reading and/or mathematics.
• Strong knowledge of differentiated instruction and evidence-based intervention strategies.
• Ability to analyze assessment data and develop targeted instructional plans.
• Excellent communication collaboration and organizational skills.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive student-centered learning environment.

• Regular use of instructional technology and classroom equipment.
• Frequent collaboration with students families and school staff.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
