BCHH is looking for a full-time Title Examiner to perform title examination functions by reviewing and interpreting a variety of real estate documents such as deeds deeds of trust/mortgages assignments releases/reconveyances and legal descriptions as found in the search.
The responsibilities include:
BCHH Inc. (BCHH) is a nationally recognized title agency providing title insurance and settlement services for both residential and commercial transactions coast to coast in all 50 states. Our company works directly with a client base made up of national lenders that originate all loan types for purchase and refinance transactions asset management companies with property assets in default along with institutional investors private equity firms and mortgage servicers that have growing investment portfolios for leveraging and securitizing real property assets.
BCHH provides nationwide services from its corporate office headquartered in Pittsburgh PA with the support of additional office locations in Dallas TX Fort Worth TX Birmingham AL Las Vegas Nevada and Salt Lake City UT. BCHH is looking for a full-time Title Examiner to perform title examination functions by reviewing and interpreting a variety of real estate documents such as deeds deeds of trust/mortgages assignments releases/reconveyances and legal descriptions as found in the search.
The responsibilities include:
- Examine chains of Title for residential properties
- Abstract and analyze records such as mortgages liens judgments easements determine ownership and legal restrictions and to verify legal description of property.
- Resolve issues such as missing information incomplete inaccurate or contradictory information contained in the title documentation
- Work independently while prioritizing and managing your time effectively
- Ability to add commitment requirements as needed to ensure real estate transactions are closed in an insurable manner
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of title or related real estate experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ramquest experience a plus.
