Qualifications

• Must have basic computer knowledge
• General Sports and Sports Betting knowledge preferred but not necessary
• Must have a minimum of 1 years of cash handling experience in a work setting
• 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to obtain a Gaming License from the MD Lottery
• Must be able to provide a high level of customer service in a very fast paced environment
• Present yourself in a professional manner
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to do simple math
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service ensuring that all customers feel comfortable and become regular guests at Fanatics Sportsbook.
• Write verify and make payments on tickets for sports wagers in accordance with department policy and procedures and ensures compliance to applicable jurisdictional gaming statues and regulations
• Maintain a cash bank for his/her shift responsible for accepting payment and making correct change when necessary
• Stock sportsbook Writer/Cashiers stations with adequate supplies; keeps all stations neat and clean
• Write Sports tickets in an accurate and timely manner
• Make payments on winning tickets in an accurate and timely manner; verify tickets and payoffs
• Maintain and reconcile bank for assigned shift following established cash-handling policies and procedures
• Explain wagering rules including betting lines and odds and procedures to guests
• Provide information and assistance to customers in a friendly courteous manner to ensure the delivery of guest service. Offer information on activities etc. and direct guests for further information as necessary
• Greet guests in a positive friendly manner
• Notify management of escalated or prevalent guest issues/concerns and any apparent suspicious activity
• Adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by MD Lottery and Fanatics.
• Become familiar with entire bet offering and be able to answer questions about the offering with confidence.
• Work to resolve customer disputes/complaints and escalate to direct supervisor when needed
• Have a positive attitude that helps ensure a great work environment
• Ensure that all necessary paperwork/documentation is filled out accordingly to company policy
• Other duties as assigned
