We are seeking a Thermal Performance Engineer to support the development analysis testing and validation of vehicle thermal systems. The engineer will be responsible for evaluating thermal performance related to cabin comfort powertrain cooling battery thermal management and overall vehicle climate efficiency to ensure compliance with performance targets and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and evaluate vehicle thermal performance requirements and validation plans.
Analyze and optimize thermal systems including HVAC cooling heating and airflow management.
Support thermal testing activities for vehicle cabin comfort powertrain and battery systems.
Conduct vehicle-level testing in climatic wind tunnels environmental chambers and road test environments.
Monitor and analyze thermal data to identify performance gaps and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HVAC CAE vehicle integration validation and calibration teams.
Support issue investigation root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Prepare engineering reports test summaries and technical documentation.
Ensure systems meet automotive standards durability requirements and regulatory guidelines.
Participate in prototype development vehicle launches and production support activities.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering Thermal Engineering or related field.
Experience in automotive thermal systems HVAC cooling systems or thermal management.
Knowledge of heat transfer thermodynamics airflow management and vehicle thermal performance principles.
Required Skills:
