Job Summary
We are looking for a full-time Therapist to join our CHANCE Program for our Jacksonville FL location.
*This position does require the person in this role to be on call since it is a 24/7 program.
*A willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours in the service of foster caregivers families of origin and persons served as well as on call 24/7.
Compensation: $60000-$65000/yr. depending on degree(s) experience and licensure.
PositionSummary
UnderthegeneralsupervisionoftheClinicalSupervisorordesigneethispositionworkstomakeameaningfuldifferenceinthelives ofthechildren andfamiliesserved. Thispositionworkscloselywithyouthfamilyfosterparentsandcommunitypartnersprovidingcounselingortherapyadvocacyand support towardtheultimategoaloflivingsafelyandsuccessfullyinthecommunity as well asresponding to crisis situations 24/7 serving human trafficking victims in the child welfare system.
Therapeutic foster care provides a safe and stable home with parents who are specially trained in the unique behavioral emotional and social needs of survivors of human trafficking. Community response teams work with youth in the community to help them heal from their trauma and build resiliency to mitigate the risk of future human trafficking involvement. CHANCE programming is provided in the home school and community environments and addresses the safety emotional and behavioral needs of youth served.

Responsibilities
- Activelysupportsrepresentsand extends themissionvision andvaluesof the organization.
- Providesappropriateindividualgroup andfamilymentalhealthservicescase managementtransportationand otherprofessionalservices meeting orexceedingestablished outcomes thresholds on behalf of personsserved.
- Travelsdaily throughout thecommunityto and on behalfofyouthandfamiliesin compliance with organizational contract andregulatoryrequirements.
- Requires the person in this role to be on call since it is a 24/7 program.
- Completesall required documentation in atimelymanner.
- Completesall required training in atimelymanner.
- Consistentlyachievesestablishedproductivitythresholds.
- Coordinateand monitorservicesforthe youth andfamilyin thecommunityincluding but notlimitedtomentalhealthmedicaleducationalpsychologicalvocationalandsocialservices.
- Regularlyreviewsand modifiesyouthbasedplans toassureconsistentprogress andsuccesson written plangoals.
- Establishesand maintains strongrelationshipwith assignedfosterparents and families of origin.
- Assists in family reunification and/or stabilization efforts with the youths primary family or other permanent living arrangement consistent with the youths case plan.
- Providessafetyassessment crisis response andbehavioralstabilizationservicesas required toassuresafetyandstabilityforyouthserved.
- Participatesin the Continuous QualityImprovementactivitieson a monthly/quarterlybasis.
- Activelyparticipates in the weeklysupervisionprocess.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
- 2 years of work experience working in direct service with youth and families strongly preferred.
- Eligible to become registered intern or registered in licensure process (LCSW LMHC)highly preferred.
- Must have a valid drivers license reliable transportation automotive insurance and a good driving record.
- 100000/300000 Bodily Injury car insurance required by agency.
- A willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours in the service of foster caregivers families of origin and persons served as well as on call 24/7.
- Capacity to be flexible and responsive to youth served foster caregivers system partners and internal customers.
- Capacity to remain objective and professional in all areas of job function.
- Demonstrates tolerance and respect for the ideas and actions of others.
- Capacity to effectively work with and be respectful and sensitive to persons from various cultures socioeconomic ethnic religious and racial backgrounds.
- Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers smartphones and tablets printers fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing spreadsheet and database programs.
