Test & Evaluation Lab Technician (Associate or Experienced) (2nd Shift)

Company:

Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) is looking for an Associate or Experienced Test & Evaluation Lab Technician (Electrical/Electronics) (Level 2 or 3) to join our team in Smithfield and Lemont Furnace Pennsylvania on 2nd shift.

Position Responsibilities:

• Supports activities to plan conduct and document tests on products systems components materials and manufacturing processes and technologies

• Designs systems materials components software and methodologies to meet customer requirements

• Participates in test design and performs routine procurement fabrication and assembly of components test fixtures and test systems

• Supports the coordination of test requirements and assists in reviewing test methods and capabilities

• Facilitates systems integration fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup integration checkout and post test tear-down

• Conducts routine tests analyzes data and documents results

• Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems

• Works under general supervision

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• Associates Degree or higher a Technical certificate or degree or 1 or more years of equivalent technical experience

• 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Experience with electronics test equipment including power supplies oscilloscopes and digital volt meters

• Experience with environmental stress screening including vibration and thermal cycle testing
