Job Title - Automation Engineer in Dearborn MI (onsite)

Automation Engineer Responsibilities -

Design develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Python

Build and execute test suites using pytest or similar frameworks for integration and functional testing

Integrate AI/LLM-based tools to accelerate test case generation log analysis defect triage or code review

Collaborate with automotive domain teams (ADAS infotainment etc.) to understand test requirements

Analyze test results identify root causes of failures and work with engineering and lab teams to resolve defects

Maintain test documentation coverage reports and traceability matrices

Required Qualifications -

58 years of professional experience in Python development and test automation

Experience in Automotive infotainment ADAS telematics or EV/HEV systems vehicle networks (CAN LIN Ethernet)

Practical experience with AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot ChatGPT/LLMs AI-based test generation or log-analysis tools) to improve productivity test coverage or defect detection

Solid understanding of software testing methodologies (functional regression smoke integration)

Strong debugging analytical and problem-solving skills

Mandatory Skills: Automotive Tools.

Experience: 3-5 Years.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $45000 to $110000 .

Final compensation will depend on various factors including your geographical location minimum wage obligations skills and relevant experience. Based on the position the role is also eligible for Wipros standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options disability insurance paid time off (inclusive of sick leave) other paid and unpaid leave options.
