The Role
As a Temporary Surveillance Analyst in the Control Room you will be part of a global team tasked with Level 1 review of electronic communications. A person in this role will be responsible for identifying and escalating potential compliance issues arising out of review of electronic communications via the Ratings supervision platform.

The Role
As a Temporary Surveillance Analyst in the Control Room you will be part of a global team tasked with Level 1 review of electronic communications. A person in this role will be responsible for identifying and escalating potential compliance issues arising out of review of electronic communications via the Ratings supervision platform.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Review electronic communications flagged by our electronic surveillance system and validate that a further review is warranted.
- Analyze content of electronic communications and escalate to the next level of review along with supporting factors.
- Report on issues identified within the electronic surveillance system during the review process.
Functional & Business Knowledge
- Good working knowledge of credit markets and the role of rating agencies in the capital formation process.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to details.
- Good understanding of the US and the EU financial regulation framework.
- Good communicator with the ability to support his or her decisions.
- Interest in global work and able to work effectively with individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds.
- A self-starter with good judgment.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor Degree.
- 6 months of professional experience in Financial Services Operations Compliance Internal Audit or Operational Risk Management functions.
- Ability to read in at least one of the following languages is a strong plus (French German Mandarin Japanese Portuguese or Hebrew)
