Position: Temporary SPED Resource Room and Life Skills Teacher

Remainder of the 2026-2027 School Year

Location: Uinta County School District #1 Evanston Wyoming

Clark Elementary

Salary: $61400 ï½ $108650 (Placement commensurate with experience and training)

Qualifications:

1. Applicant must hold or be eligible for a Wyoming Teaching Certificate and SPED K-12 Generalist Certificate. Should have experience and knowledge of Reading Language Arts and/or Math.
2. Life skills and/or severe profound training/certification is a plus.
3. Applicant must demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
4. Applicant must be familiar with curriculum teaching techniques and the general procedures associated with special education.
5. Applicant must have the ability to be a contributing member of a team working for the benefit of each individual student.
6. Applicant must be willing and able to work in inclusionary settings in addition to teaching in pullout programs.
7. The applicant must be able to supervise multiple paraprofessionals.
8. The applicant must be able to educate students with cognitive disabilities.
9. The applicant must be able to manage the students personal hygiene and medical needs.
