Position Overview:
The Temporary Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing within the agency ensuring continuity and quality of care for hospice patients. This is a temporary position expected to last 13 weeks subject to the terms of the employment agreement and operational needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Washington State.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights weekends and holidays.
- Certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Safety (BLS)
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to independently drive within Tri-Cities Chaplaincys service areas to provide in-home patient and family services and support in clients homes facilities and community locations.
- This position is designated as Safety Sensitive. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen which includes cannabis testing in Washington State.
- Washington State Food Worker Card issued by the Department of Health
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of hospice palliative or home health experience.
- Wellsky Software experience

Compensation
Hiring Range: $65.00/hour - $75.00/hour
Note regarding the listed pay range:
At Tri-Cities Chaplaincy we carefully establish pay ranges for our positions by taking various factors into account including education certifications knowledge skills experience internal equity and market conditions. These ranges are tailored to match the diverse programs and services we offer. Our goal is to ensure fair compensation for candidates based on these factors while maintaining internal peer equity.
Hiring Range: The starting pay range offered to new hires depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule: This is a 13-week temporary employee agreementposition with no fixed or guaranteed schedule. Work schedules and shift assignments will be determined based on operational and patient-care needs and may vary throughout the assignment.
AGENCY REQUIREMENTS

- Community Outreach: Participate in education and outreach activities to promote agency programs including hospice care advanced planning and bereavement services.
- Policy Compliance: Maintain knowledge of and comply with agency policies procedures and practices.
- Confidentiality: Protect patient and agency information per HIPAA guidelines. Only access information on a need-to-know basis.
- Transportation: Maintain reliable personal transportation. Maintain a valid drivers license and vehicle insurance per state requirements.
- Health Requirements: Satisfy state and agency health requirements by providing proof of immunization declinations or approved accommodations as applicable.
- Screenings: Pass criminal background and drug screenings.
- Physical Demands: Meet the physical and environmental requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.(see attached physical requirements)
- Training and Orientation: Complete agency and departmental orientation and required training programs.
- Continuing Education: Complete ongoing education policy reviews and training be designated deadlines.
- Licensure and Certification: Maintain current licensure(s) and certifications(s) required for the role.
- Language Proficiency: Read write speak and understand English fluently.
- Work Availability: Be available to work as assigned or scheduled.
