Position Overview

Lighthouse Lab Services is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a client seeking a detail-oriented proactive Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist for a short-term contract assignment. This individual will provide support to the Accounts Receivable team through year-end helping manage customer collections ensure invoices are sent promptly and respond to customer inquiries related to billing and collections.

The ideal candidate has previous accounts receivable or collections experience strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments.

• Support collection efforts to help meet year-end accounts receivable goals.

• Ensure invoices are emailed to customers accurately and in a timely manner.

• Monitor and respond to incoming emails in a shared mailbox addressing questions related to invoicing billing and collections.

• Communicate professionally with customers to resolve billing questions and facilitate timely payments.

• Maintain accurate records of collection activities customer communications and invoice follow-ups.

• Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to prioritize outstanding items and support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounts receivable collections billing or a related accounting support role.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills particularly when communicating with customers about outstanding balances.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks prioritize deadlines and work independently.

• Comfortable using email spreadsheets and standard business software.

• A proactive customer-focused approach to resolving billing and payment issues.

Additional Details

• Hourly Pay: $25$35 depending on experience.

• Duration: Short-term contract expected to run through the end of the year.
