TheTechnician Production Operationsis responsibleforfollowing established procedures for in vivo antibody production as well as routine animal care and husbandry in large and small animal species.
This positionreports to theSupervisor Animal Operationsandis part of theAnimal Operations Facilitylocated inMaple Plain MNand willbeanon-siterole.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Read understand and follow established work instructions and procedures with emphasis on quality and compliance with regulations (USDA FDA GMP and ISO) and high animal welfare standards
- Independently and as a team execute work regarding in vivo antibody production including injections venipuncture serum processing antibody quantification and animal husbandry
- Provide operations support by performing preventative maintenance managing equipment calibrations and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- AA Degree or higher degree with 1 years of experience
- Ability to work with a variety of large and small animal species
- Ability to work within established procedures with a high attention to detail
Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to frequently stand bend kneel and lift up to 50 lbs; ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions including outdoors and in an animal barn environment
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Farm or other large animal operations
- Regulated industry and/or animal laboratory environments (e.g. USDA FDA)

The hourly range for this role is$28-32.This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
