This position will report to the Maintenance Supervisor within the assigned department.

What you will do:

• Perform all work in a safe and controlled manner adhering to safety and environmental policies
• Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following Nutrien Occupational Health Safety Administration Mining Health Safety Administration and Marine Securityguidelines
• Uses proper Personal Protection Equipment such as safety glasses gloves ear plugs face shields flash suits and personal environmental monitors
• Workas part of a team to complete assignments and minimize downtime
• Perform daily maintenance and overhauls on various types of equipment
• Perform daily and routine preventative maintenanceon equipment
• Repair various other types of static equipment including heat exchangers tanks screws elevators and boilers
• Work as a productive team member and support continuous improvement
• Cross-training and working in all areas of the facility as required
• Perform work from elevated structures ladders scissor lifts boom lifts personnel basketsand confined spaces
• Complete mechanic progression training as required and within timelines
• Follow all safety rules and regulations as set forth by the Company
• Work at heights outdoors and around potentially hazardous chemicals

What you will bring:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; post-secondary courses and training are preferred
• Possess a high degree of integrity and ownership
• Ability to effectively communicate (both verbal & non-verbal) with a diverse group of people
• Ability to read understand and comply with standards policies and procedures
• Be a self-starter and work with little supervision; willing to work overtime as required
• Possess troubleshooting and analytical ability
• Must be comfortable and physically capable of entering and working in a confined space
• Must be able to hear and understand audible alarms changes in noise levels of rotating equipment and portable radio communications
• Must be familiar with Microsofts Office Suite
• Solid understanding of maintenance practices and processes
• Experience operating mobile equipment to include forklifts man lifts carry deck cranes etc.
• Possess basic computer skills and knowledge

Compensation & Benefits:

Starting rate $31.48 - $36.55per hour (plus available overtime).

Nutrien offers a skills based pay compensation program. Hourly rates can progresses based on On-Job-Training formal learning and observation of new skills. Hourly rates can progresses from starting rate of $30.53 - $41.00 per hour over a specified time period.

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range for this role in Aurora NC is between $27.48 - $43.14. While we provide this range as general guidance several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including but not limited to candidate skill set experience and training licensure and certifications work location and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ.

In addition to base pay this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
