BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10 years of professional hands-on experience in Automation as a Technician.
- Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.
- Ability to travel for work-related purposes as needed; access to reliable transportation is required due to the nature of our business and multiple client sites.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Background checks are required.
- Strong hands-on background in mechanical assembly and basic electrical wiring or testing.
- Ability to read and interpret CAD models drawings electrical schematics pneumatic schematics and work instructions.
- Experience managing lab or shop workflows tools and equipment.
- Electrical panel building experience to UL 508 standards.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 and 79.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented leadership style.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced project-driven consulting environment.
- College level education preference for management or technical focus.
- Have focus on safety and quality.
- Create process documentation for the Technician team.
- Lead and manage technicians supporting mechanical electrical and system-level builds and testing.
- Oversee day-to-day lab and shop operations including scheduling workload balancing and priorities. Work through resourcing issues with the management team with grace and candor.
- Ensure adherence to Andrews Cooper standards safety practices and quality processes.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance for assembly troubleshooting and test activities.
- Partner with engineering leadership to support project execution and delivery timelines.
- Mentor coach and develop technicians through feedback training and career growth support.
