Job Summary
$20 per hour
*Retention bonus - $250 at 30 days $250 at 90 days $500 at 180 days. Up to $1000 after 6 months!
Rotating M-F 5a-5:30p (see below)
12-hour rotating schedule working either MondayWednesday or MondayThursday.
- Day shift Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend work.
Shift hours: 5:00 a.m.5:30 p.m. CST.
Under the direction of the Supervisor the Production Packaging Technician works in a fast-paced team-oriented manufacturing environment. This position focuses primarily on packaging and performing production tasks in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.
Operate production equipment including startup minor adjustments and quality monitoring.
Complete production documentation accurately and thoroughly.
Clean and sanitize work areas according to established procedures.
Follow GMPs SOPs and applicable safety and quality requirements.
Work collaboratively with team members to support daily production goals.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
13 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
Strong analytical scientific and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
Strong attention to detail and safety.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds intermittently.
Bachelors degree in Biology or a related scientific field strongly preferred.
Understanding of aseptic processes and their application in daily operations.
Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Basic knowledge of quality improvement tools and MPS processes.
Awareness of USDA regulations.
