Job Summary
A Technical Specialistis responsibleforqualityinstallationsrebuildsmaintenanceandrepairsto Blow Mold process Serviceispartofateamwhichisresponsibleforthedirectiontowardsimprovedreliability and output of the Blow Mold manufacturing business.
- Provideessentialsafety recommendationsinspectionsandrepairsonmachineryasnecessary
- ProvidequalityinstallationstroubleshootingrepairsandrebuildofBlow Moldmachinery and auxiliary equipment.
- Support plansforpreventativemaintenancetechniquesandproceduresforprocesses.
- Be able to supplytechnicaladviceorserviceforallmachineryonsite.
- Mustbeproficient or capable of being proficientinBlow Mold control systems
- Mayconducttrainingintheoperationandmaintenanceofequipment & process.
- Mustbeabletomaintaingoodcustomerrelationsandcommunicationswithallplantsandupper management
- Criticalsparepartspurchaserecommendationandprocurement
- Mustbeabletoleadandtrainlessexperiencedmaintenancetechnicians and processorswhenassignedto similar projects
- Supports design engineeringsolutionsthatmeetthemanufacturingfacilitiesrequirementswhile monitoringbudgetconstraints tomaximizeproductionequipment qualityandefficiency.
- AssistsinthepreparationofthescopeofaprojectcostjustificationandAFE(overallcost proposal) to senior management for approval as required.
- Maintainsawarenessofandsupports projectcostqualityscopeandscheduletoensureontime delivery of projects within internal budgets. Prepare any necessary progress reports.
- SupportsR&DactivitiesconcernedwithintegrationandtestingofBlow Mold machinery and auxiliary equipment.
- Applymechanicaltheorymechanicaltestingproceduresandrelatedknowledgetolayoutbuild test troubleshoot repair and modify developmental and production equipment.
Workswithmaintenancedepartmenttoensurepreventativeandpredictivemaintenance tasks are effectively completed when necessary.
EvaluatesselectsandcoordinateswithOEMandoutsidevendorsfordesignfabricationand installation/repair of equipment / processes.
Requirements
- AssociatedegreeinMechanical / IndustrialEngineeringorminimumof5yearsequivalent experience working in Blow Mold processes
- Extensive hands on experiencewithplastics moldingmachinery and processesrequired
- Experiencewithhydraulicscontrolselectricalsystemsandmechanicalsystems
