Job Summary

Koniag Professional Services LLC a Koniag Government Services company is seeking a Technical Security Specialist with Top Secret security clearance to support KPS and our government customer in Arlington VA. Provide TSCM and CTTA support as directed by DARPAIdentify programs situations and activities that require the application of TSCM and TEMPESTRecommend for approval the use of these techniques and upon approval apply conduct within capabilities oversee and/or coordinate the approved or required TSCM and TEMPEST activitiesConduct TSCM activities to ensure that working environments are free of technical surveillance devices; Identify hazardous conditions that could facilitate technical surveillanceIdentify conditions which are or contribute to technical security weaknesses (items of security interest physical vulnerabilities technical hazards and technical penetrations)Correct deficiencies and employ countermeasures to defeat technical surveillance effortsLiaise with the TSCM communityPrepare and/or review TSCM related reports to include reporting relevant information through channels to the appropriate counterintelligence activityIn concert with external and internal agencies or activities conduct and report the results of a Technical Threat analysis Coordinate TSCM and TEMPEST support with internal and external agencies and activities; employ operations security regarding any proposed planned in progress or completed TSCM and TEMPEST service of a facilityPlan and recommend for approval to the Government TSCM support activities implementing the plans upon approvalDevelop and recommend TSCM prioritiesKeep abreast and advise SID Government representatives of current technical surveillance threats and recommend countermeasures to the threatsParticipate as authorized in DoD Technical Surveillance Integrated Management Group (TSIMG) activities related to TSCM research development test and evaluation (RDT&E) training and Skills and Experience for this position:Possess extensive knowledge in investigations electronics security evaluation and construction as it relates to the DoDI 5240.05 (TSCM).Have a minimum of seven (7) continuous years of TSCM experience immediately preceding work on this Secret clearance with eligibility for SAP and SCI school diplomaMust have successfully completed the Interagency Training Centers (ITC) TSCM Fundamentals Course prior to performing TSCM functions on this contract. Additionally shall at least annually attend refresher or other specialized training to remain proficient and knowledgeable concerning unusual or new technical penetration and/or detection techniques; and successfully completed a course in electronics fundamentals such as electronics avionics telephone systems operations and maintenance information systems operations and maintenance and/or alarm systems operation and good general health without physical impairments which would interfere with the performance of duties including prolonged walking standing sitting climbing stairs moving rapidly to respond to various the following physical standards (See current edition of DoDI 5240.05 Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) Program):Hearing acuity tests results per audiometer test not to exceed 30 decibels (A.S.A. or equivalent I.S.O.) in either ear in theand 2000 Hz ranges. Must be able to hear the whispered voice at 15 feet with each ear without the use of a hearing must be a minimum of 20/30 in one eye and 20/20 in the other eye distant and near through normal vision or corrective perception test results employing the pseudo-isochromatic plates for testing color perception not to exceed four incorrect identifications out of fourteen test from any physical problems which materially hinder manual dexterity. Must have normal range of motion in all extremities.A complete medical examination showing no medical reason for the proposed personnel to be unable to complete rigorous training and performance of duties to include the following: ability to lift forty pounds overhead using both arms; ability to carry forty pounds in a manner similar to carrying a suitcase; ability to climb a six-foot ladder; and ability to crawl beneath a three-foot Requirement:Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SAP and SCI Skills and Experience for work at DARPA on this contract:Be a US CitizenBe able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate SID and DARPA needs;Be able to travel and perform work at other geographical locations;Have the ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work activities;Able to read write speak and understand the English language and have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing;Have the ability to accurately and completely prepare and maintain files records and reports and to convey factual information;Have the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently;Have the ability to remain calm in emergency situations;Have the ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions with limited supervision;Have skill in reading writing basic math document composition and analytical problem solving; andMust be at least 21 years of age at the time of employment on the in the written and spoken English language and shall have strong written and oral communication Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
