Job Title: Technical Project Manager GitHub EMU Migration

Location: Indianapolis IN

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead a GitHub migration from GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC) where users work with personal GitHub accounts to Enterprise Managed Users (EMU). You will own planning coordination and delivery across engineering security and identity teams.

Responsibilities

Own the end to end migration plan timeline and wave strategy
Coordinate with DevOps security identity and application teams
Manage risks around account transition access and contribution history
Plan cutover windows rollback steps and stakeholder communication
Track progress and report status to leadership
Support developer adoption and resolve issues during the transition

Required Qualifications

Proven experience managing GitHub EMU migrations
Strong understanding of the challenges in moving from personal accounts to managed accounts
Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise Importer and bulk repo migration
Working knowledge of SAML SSO and SCIM with Entra ID or Okta
Experience leading cross functional technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

Experience migrating GitHub Actions workflows runners secrets and branch protections
PMP Scrum or similar certification
Local to Indiana
