Job Summary
As a Program Manager focused on technology to enable the Mission Autonomy Business Line you will manage new technology development initiatives within the Internal Research and Development (IRAD) and customer facing program portfolio. Overall this work will be diverse in nature span a variety of software technologies and require you to be flexible to adapt to changing situations. During all this you must be able to successfully work with a wide variety of technical stakeholders communicate plans clearly to all parties and coordinate across teams to achieve the desired end state.
WHAT YOULL DO
- Drive scoping and execution of different initiatives that make up the Mission Autonomy business line. These initiatives will enable the success of the Mission Autonomy Business Line
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers other program managers chief engineers test and evaluation business operations and finance to meet objectives.
- Support the execution of functional engineering roadmaps to ensure they align with long-term strategic bets and program needs.
- Lead execution of early-phase programs that have been won through the capture process. This will involve external customer relationship management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Robotics Computer Science Computer Engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
- A technical career background
- Willingness to travel this is a travel heavy opportunity (up to 70%)
- Deep familiarity with subsystems and knowledge of robotics systems that you have previously worked on.
- Evidence in understanding technical tradeoffs and how to reduce risk through key development efforts.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills capable of managing multiple initiatives concurrently.
- Proven experience in collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams influencing engineering teams and interacting with leadership stakeholders.
- Outstanding communication abilities adept at conveying intricate plans and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance. Clearance not required to apply
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Direct experience in leading product development related to or Unmanned Vehicle (UxV) development within the robotics sectors.
- Knowledge of hardware software development practices and best practices for autonomous robotics systems.
- Startup experience: wearing different hats that go beyond the scope outlined in your job description
US Salary Range
$132000 - $160000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience education and/or training critical skills and/or business considerations.
