Technical Product Marketing Specialist, Canada & Latin America

The International Product Marketing team in Canada and Latin America is looking for a Technical Product Marketing Specialist to support Apples exciting product launches and ongoing marketing efforts. Based in Coral Gables you will support teams across Canada and Latin Technical Product Marketing team provides direct technical management and operational support to the Apple Product Marketing organization. This includes support for product launches and press briefings retail demo development internal testing and demonstrations product and feature investigations and experiential role is part of the International Product Marketing organization a group of experts who champion Apple products within their respective markets and find innovative ways to keep them at the heart of the customer conversation. The organization lays the foundation for Apples peerless demonstrations presentations and are passionate about our products and we are looking for a highly motivated individual to provide best-in-class technical support to our marketing initiatives.

Every Apple launch depends on demonstrations that work this role you will be the technical force behind them turning new products into experiences that the media external and internal partners can see trust and talk will bring deep knowledge of Apple platforms and a hands-on approach to a fast-moving environment where no two days look alike. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to make sure each launch is ready for the world role suits a collaborative self-directed problem solver who takes pride in the details that make a product shine.

Support the introduction of new products by collaborating with product managers and engineers providing technical expertise to ensure our products receive the launch they deservenWork with product managers and engineers to define plan create and evaluate product demonstrations that showcase the capabilities of our hardware software and services working togethernDesign and implement scripts subsystems and software automation through on-device services and streamline processes to help Product Marketing prepare efficiently for launches and ongoing marketing effortsnBe comfortable with a range of tasks from running and dressing network and data cables to deploying and supporting a press briefing with worldwide visibility often within the same daynDemonstrate a strong sense of individual ownership and responsibility while working in a team environmentnMaintain and troubleshoot serversnBe a visible and vocal member of the Product Marketing team

2 years of experience with both iOS and macOS as well as Apple hardwarenExperience with mass deployment techniques and best practices for iOS and macOS as well as large-scale system administrationnStrong knowledge of the macOS command line toolset shell scripting Python and modern web technology codebasesnFluency in written and spoken EnglishnAbility to travel up to 40% of the time within the United States and internationally including to Canada and Latin America

Solid practical knowledge of networking hardware software and implementation best practicesnA solution-oriented mindset and high-level programming skillsnExcellent written and spoken communication skills and the ability to tailor communication to different audiencesnExperience building scalable databasesnA creative and ambitious approach to problem-solvingnProficiency in Spanish and/or PortuguesenBachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
